Riding Instruction
Moray Nicholson BHSIMoray Nicholson holds the prestigious Instructor certificate from the British Horse Society. He trained for many years under the expert eyes of the world class team of Jane Bartle-Wilson and Christopher Bartle at their Yorkshire Riding Centre in North Yorkshire England.
Moray had been an advanced Instructor there since 1990 and was teaching riders from around the world and of all skill levels. He now runs his own business regularly teaching clinics in the United Kingdom and America. Competition Experience: As a young rider Moray represented Great Britain in International competition. He has extensive eventing experience including many advanced three day competitions and has been a member of British Eventing for over 25 years. He now has full Accreditation as a trainer from British Eventing and has fully supported their lower level training schemes which were set up to help educate beginners to this sport. This year he has judged some of the Grasshopper qualifiers. In Show Jumping, Moray has jumped at grade A level and qualified horses for the Royal International and Horse of Year shows. Instruction Experience: Moray's ability to get the best out of his students and horses will benefit all riding combinations, whatever their level of skill. His teaching style is patient, positive and insightful, with a good measure of humour thrown in on the way. Students ranging from pleasure riders to serious competitors find him informative and constructive and his international clinics are well supported.
